Cairngorm Experience

The Cairngorn Plateau is a unique wilderness that has to be experienced to be understood.  The rolling tops with steep granite cliffs that drop into remote mountain lochs make it an amazing place for walking and wild camping. The weather in this area can be everything from blue skies to blizzards all in the one day.

A multi day trip in this area provides the perfect way to explore some idyllic camp sites and, if you are bagging Munros, collecting a few peaks along the way. If after setting up camp and having had dinner, you still have energy to burn then we can use the darkness to practice poor weather navigation techniques.

Undoubtedly some of the most rewarding days you will ever spend in the Scottish mountains.
